The Wahoo KICKR is the gold standard of direct-drive smart turbo trainers, used by professional road cyclists including teams in the Tour de France for indoor training. The direct-drive design eliminates the rear tyre entirely for a quiet, road-like feel and significantly more accurate power measurement than wheel-on alternatives.
